Language learning should feel useful, personal and encouraging.

Aprendira was created to put real communication at the centre of learning, with lessons that connect to the learner’s goals rather than a generic sequence of exercises.

Maebh Worthing is the founder and lead tutor behind Aprendira. She holds a BA in Modern Languages and Translation from Cardiff University and is Cambridge CELTA-qualified, with observed and assessed teaching practice across different learner levels.

Aprendira is built around a clear teaching approach: personal, practical, structured, encouraging, culturally aware and transparent.

Maebh’s own experience of studying languages shaped an approach that combines clear explanation, practical communication and the confidence to use language beyond the lesson. Knowing something on paper can feel very different from finding the words in a real conversation.

Cambridge CELTA is a qualification in English-language teaching. French and Spanish tuition is delivered within Maebh’s language background and verified teaching scope.

The aim is not to move everyone through the same sequence at the same speed. Aprendira connects goals, interests, communication and confidence so learners can enjoy the language and use it in real life.
